Puppy Nipping

1. No petting around face or head for 6 months.

2. Pet below his collar, like on the chest.

3. No tug-o-war games.

4. Keep your petting sessions, a minute or less.

5. Redirect to gimborn natural sterilized bones or kong toys, and insert snack items inside these bones or toys, such as cheese, peanut butter, or doggy beef jerky.

6. If the dog is nipping hard on you, say 'off' and startle it with a soda can of pennies or blast of water.

7. Wait 5 minutes and then redirect to an appopriate chew object.
