Inappropriate Cat Digging

1. Prevent access when you are not home and asleep.

2. Only allow access when you're around to catch in the act.

3. Redirect to burlap scratching post or kitty condo with hidden treats.

4. Cover edge/entrance of plant pot with double sided sticky tape or tin-foil.

5. Catch in the act and startle with water blast.

6. Make sure the cat is solely an indoor cat.

7. Increase your one-on-one time playing with the cat, providing adequate stimulation, with wand toys, cat nip mice, cat nip and ping pong balls.

8. Provide and redirect to a tray of kitty grass for the cat to play and chew.

9. Give it 8-12 weeks of consistent practice and then gradually allow access to areas of crime.

Good luck!
