Inappropriate Cat Climbing

1. No access to tree when you are not there or asleep.

2. Provide kitty tree house or tall kitty condo and hide cat nip and cheese treats.

3. Nail up some perching shelves for the cat to climb up and lay down on.

4. Only when you catch the cat approaching the tree should you startle it, either with empty soda can with 25 pennies or squirt of water in the rear end with an 'off.'

5. Then, after a while, redirect back to the shelves or kitty tree.
